KSDA offers different types of membership:
regular, special, associate and alternative
trading system (ATS). |

Regular members are given voting rights.
, Special members have a say in the
general meeting but do not have voting
rights. |
Korean securities companies and branches
of foreign securities companies are
eligible for regular membership. |
The alternative trading system category
was introduced in December 2001. According
to the Act, ATS includes securities
companies that may only operate after-hours
trading of securities. |
Under the Act, financial institutions
engaging in securities business as a
side business, may become associate
members. |
As of July 2008 KSDA has 91 members:
33 regular members (one branch of foreign securities firm), 20 special members, and 38 associate members.
